The title of novice mages at the The Academy of Magic
Qualifications
To become a Prospect one has to be accepted into the The Academy of Magic which is done through a test of ones ability to read and comprehend common, simple math and logic tests. To get acces to the test one has to send a letter to the Academy writing their wish to apply to the school. A scroll of parchment is then send back the applicant on which the test is. The applicant has to write their answers on the scroll. When they have finished the test, the scroll is teleported to the Academy.
Duties
As a Prospect one is required to attend the daily lessons within the main keep, and hand in homework.
Responsibilities
Besides the daily lessons, Prospects are also expected to do day-to-day tasks such as cleaning the Sleeping Quarters and Common Rooms. This is done to make sure the Prospects are willing to do the hard work necessary to further their studies.
Benefits
Prospecs are taught the fundamentals of magic, and whether they are allowed to further their studies or not, the Academy makes sure each Prospect is given a way to excel in life. This is either by furthering their studies, assigning them internships after the basic training, or assigning them to train with The Weave Brigade in Whitpoint.
Accoutrements & Equipment
Prospects are given simple brown robes that they are required to wear at all times.
