The Land of Titans

Once the center of the ancient Gigantepolei, the unforgiving continent of Aestidesia is now home to rugged people and savage wildlife. Aestidesia is based on the Glossa term Aested, which means "Spear of the World" in the tongue of the Giantkin. It is also known as the "Land of the Titans" among the people of the Union. Residents are known as Aestidesian by Imperials or Aestidites in Vulgar. The geography of Aestidesia is imposing in the extreme; The southern region is characterized by vast highland plains, extensive forests of dense deciduous trees, endless hills, and unforgiving mountain ranges. This region is dominated by the twin turgent rivers of the Asten and the Vylka, which are fed by the mountains of the north. In northern Aestidesia the landscape is dominated by the Ostyak Mountains known for its narrow fertile valleys, frigid plateaus, and spire-like mountain peaks that tower over the rest of Aemaphia. Beyond the cliffs of the Ostyak Mountains is the tempestuous Gasenausian Sea and the distant shores of Hunend and Gornend of Aesesria.
