Parkstone Lookout
Archivist's Excerpt from: Alone in the Cold: The Story of Orphan Towne, its Strange History, & its Stranger Occupants, CVI 42.4
Situated right beside Tanno's Landing in Attistock, just down the way from Cavendish Lane, Parkstone Lookout is what passes for a park in this part of Orphan. Little more than a clearing, it overlooks Bellamy Park, an actual park, and so if one stands on Parkstone and happens to face away from Cavendish Lane, one can fool one's self into believing he is, in fact, standing on a hilltop of a much larger and grander park, even though he isn't.
The park boasts a tree, just the one, and a bench, just the one, but it also harbours a little pedestal-mounted set of spyglasses that one can use to glance across the scenery of Orphan Towne, to spy on lovers strolling in the park below, or searing one's retinas by looking at the sun through the dome.
