Jagdheim

Jagd iron and everything related to the production of weapons, armor and tools are the core source of income for the inhabitants of Jagdheim.

Before joining the Schwabhausen Rebellion and the reestablishment of House Styr, the Styrian Artisans Guild managed all affairs in the city.

The inhabitants have already forgotten, when or from whom exactly the city was founded, but one is clear. They settled there to mine the exceptional ore of the jagd iron.   The city quickly grew, as people moved there to earn money in the mines, as well as hauling ore and assisting artisans in smithing ingots, weapons and other items that were sold for a high price. Jagdheims artisans are the most skilled and renowned smiths in the entire empire, if not in all mankind.   The Venecian Merchant Council to the west, in their effort to expand their profit margins from trading these high quality products, attacked the city and conquered it and founding the Styrian Artisans Guild that had to abide by their rules. The wealth of both the guild members as well as every other inhabitant was drained out to the venecians even creating an impoverished group of people.   When the guild rose up against the venecians in the second year of the Schwabhausen Rebellion, the city became an important supplier of weapons, armor, arrowheads and so on, as well as a fort to protect Grenzburg from further attacks.

The city is situated in the northern parts of the Jagdalps.

Jagd iron is the sole resource of this mountainous city.
