The Castelleno Mansion

Purpose / Function

This villa served as the home and seat of power for the Archbishop Martin Castelleno, predecessor of Florian Grunewald.

Alterations

The original building has had many updates and alterations to it over the years, including the expansion of an entire wing, built using new materials and construction methods to ensure a fortified master bedroom and several extra bedrooms for ghouls and servants besides. Many portions of the original house have been renovated and updated while still maintaining the "bones" and general appearance to introduce electrical wiring, plumbing and the various traps and snares that the Archbishop developed out of personal interest. The greatest concession to modernity is a sheltered swimming pool at the rear of the house.

Architecture

Traditional Mediterranean style house with courtyard, fountain, open air loggia, and barrel vaulted entryways.
