The pleasure and escort house known as The Cat House can be found in the port and trading city of Bridgeport. Delilah is the proud proprietor of this establishment. Since she first moved to Bridgeport as an ambitious young lady trying to make her mark in the world, she has been successfully operating her business for more than fifteen years now.   In spite of its humble beginnings as a small brothel catering only to sailors passing through town, Delilah has managed to transform it into one of the most sought-after establishments in all of Bridgeport - attracting high-end clients from a far and wide with its reputation for exquisite service and quality entertainment.   Delilah is well-known around the community for her quick wit as well as her strong eye for detail; regardless of how trivial or large a request may be, she always makes sure that each customer leaves The Cat House delighted with their time there. Delilah pays meticulous attention to every facet of The Cat House's operations, from hiring staff members who will deliver first-rate services to ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to at all times.   Daughter to a stage‑magician and a seamstress, Delilah learnt early how velvet sleeves may conceal both doves and daggers. She left the Farenian capital when a liaison with a baron’s son soured into scandal, arriving in Bridgeport with two trunks, one cat, and an immoderate determination never again to be powerless. In those lean first months she practised the art of saying no sweetly enough that men heard yes and paid twice for the privilege of confusion.
Three Burmese Cats by Ti llerz using MJ
Childhood memories flit like theatre dust: her father vanishing silver coins betwixt nimble fingers; her mother hemming brocade gowns until dawn; caged finches singing above the cluttered workshop. Those birds taught Delilah to value doors that open. Even now she keeps the Cat House’s windows unlatched whenever weather allows, trusting the salty breeze to sluice away despair.   In business she is serpentine yet fair. She maintains a scholarship fund for daughters of Bridgeport’s washer‑women and insists every employee attend weekly lessons in letters or sums, taught after supper by Mister Pell. Her own leisure hours are spent tending bonsai orange trees upon the roof, trimming each branch with the same meticulous patience she applies to intrigue. She drinks lavender tea, never wine, claiming clarity is worth more than oblivion.   Few know that Delilah meets annually with her elder brother, Elias, now a Farenian tax‑collector. Over chess they trade rumours of court and coast. Family loyalty binds them, but on the board she shows no mercy: her brother’s king rarely survives past the ninth move.   Her Burmese cats - Pepper, Saffron, and Old Admiral Jinks - patrol the corridors like furry sentinels. Delilah converses with them in low Calikan, a half‑forgotten dialect learnt from a travelling magician. Whether the cats comprehend is immaterial; secrets, she maintains, travel safest when whispered into whiskers.   GM info / spoilers / plot hooks. Mouse-over to read,
