Alfredo, known far and wide as Alfredo the Strongman, is a star performer in the travelling circus that roams throughout Farenia, delighting crowds with his astonishing feats of strength. Towering over most of his fellow performers, Alfredo is a bald, broad-shouldered man with a barrel chest and a physique sculpted by years of rigorous training. His skin is deeply tanned from long days under the sun, and a pair of expressive brown eyes hint at the kindness behind his imposing exterior. A thick, neatly trimmed moustache frames his smile, giving him an air of old-world charm.   Alfredo’s acts are nothing short of legendary. Whether he’s lifting massive weights, breaking chains with his bare hands, or bending steel bars into intricate shapes, his performances always leave audiences breathless. Children gasp as he hoists giant props high above his head, and adults cheer as he pulls waggons laden with performers and equipment across the stage. Despite the physicality of his work, Alfredo carries himself with grace, always bowing humbly to the roaring applause that follows his every act.

A Performer’s Dedication

When Alfredo isn’t performing, he dedicates himself to relentless practice. Mornings often find him in the training tent, perfecting new lifts or working with the circus’s blacksmith to design fresh props for his act. His commitment to his craft is unwavering; every move is rehearsed until it becomes second nature. Alfredo also takes time to mentor younger members of the circus, offering encouragement and teaching them the discipline required to succeed in their roles.   Behind the scenes, Alfredo is a deeply valued member of the troupe. His strength isn’t limited to physical feats; he’s known for being a reliable friend and a pillar of support during tough times. He has a quiet but genuine sense of humour, often using his exaggerated gruffness to make others laugh.  

Alfredo’s Secret Heart

Despite his rugged exterior and public confidence, Alfredo harbours a tender secret: he is deeply in love with Tiziana, the circus’s ticket seller. Tiziana, with her clever banter and ever-present fake beard, has a knack for charming even the grimmest of customers. Alfredo is captivated by her wit and her ability to bring light into the lives of everyone she meets.   Though his strength makes him fearless on stage, Alfredo is shy and reserved when it comes to matters of the heart. He has admired Tiziana from afar for years, stealing glances as she works the crowds or watching her laugh with the other performers. Too nervous to reveal his feelings, he instead expresses his love through secret letters that he keeps hidden in a locked chest. These heartfelt notes, filled with poetry and confessions, remain unsent, a private outlet for emotions he feels he cannot share.   Alfredo’s love inspires him to push himself harder in his performances.
