Court of Woad and Blood
Order of Bloodwoad is a religious organization whose primary focus is to provide relief to rural communities throughout Kargast and Karkebi.
At the top sit the Oak Knowers, who all have graduated from their tribe's initiations into the Esteemed Classes of Ovate or Druid. They use taxes and tributes from allies throughout Kargast and Karkebi in order to send aid to rural areas.
There is a High Priestess, they worship Nod, the God of Dreams, Hypnosis, Death, and Prophecy. He is also associated with rivers and the sea. They often use a Saesonaid as their icon, as those with Seaweed Sickness can communicate with them, similar to how those with Silicon Sickness can communicate with Coriniaid.
Beneath the High Priestess is the Grand Headmistress of the Order, she is an NP-L1 and uses Formalin which is notoriously cheap but dangerous. She is a Magistra Elementorum.
Within is also the Dean of Medicine, she is an NP-L1 and uses Benjoin. She is a Decana Haematologiae.
Consulting are one Decana Chiruga, and one Magister Logii, as well as some L2 Gladia from other guilds.
The Order of Bloodwoad is a tenuously sanctioned organization - it is supported by many tribe leaders, but it has been repeatedly rejected from attaining Visas to build churches in Caer Sidi. It is not quite clear why, but this has caused them to be seen as unpopular, even though they are a staple of many communities. As Worship to Nod falls, worship of his spiritual successor, Bel, begins to emerge.
The Order of Bloodwoad offers options to become referred to become a double initiate (this is not recognized by most governing bodies) of Benjoin and Formalin It is basically the only place that offers this, but it's a bit misleading. Becoming a "double initiate" has such a low survival chance that it is just an honorary title above all else. However, someone will always claim to be surviving double initiation.

A brief description:
- Medical school for Citron magic
- Trains the Acolyta classes up until 3rd Class (offers training but not certification for 2nd class)
- These temples still exist but in Gannwyll Gwydd areas often require upgrading at one of their sanctioned schools
- Currently being "considered for noble profession grade" so... kind of recognized
- They use formalin which is illegal outside of Kargast and Karkebi though, so they usually have to double up initiation with another school
Their public agenda (purpose, mission, aims)
- Partnered with cross-Elemental Mining operations to extract Formalin
- Focuses on the Musk of Nod (Formaldehyde) in Citron element
- Has some synergy with Benjoin
- Offers B-V-D certification for Maga+ ranks, but limited spots
- Offers plague training, and L3 licenses for underfunded communities
- Official Sister schools with Brine and Brimstone nearby academies
Describe their visuals (flag, motto, uniform)
- Their colours are woad blue and viridian green
- Their logo is an owl with a teardrop (to represent Citron)
- Their official flower is the woad flower and yarrow
- They dress as pandemic doctors, dark, heavy coats with leather aprons and cloaks. When they are actively working they wear a distinct mask with a raven's beak stuffed full of herbs.
- The clergy wear yellow gold and saffron-coloured caps, while other members wear a wide-brimmed hat
- Most of their "gold" items are protoplastic such as bakelite and are explosive
Their secret agenda (if they have one)
- They are an organization operated almost entirely by the Golden Medlar Cult, who maintains some connection to the outer world while also having an incredibly rigid, collectivist structure. They are on good terms with the Glendatis because their cultures are very similar this way.
