Leechweaver
A Leechweaver is a type of physician who specializes in assessing, diagnosing, and divining the health of an individual. They are particularly concerned with the cardiovascular and renal systems, and follow the Doctrine of the Magic Quadrant.
Leechweavers are specialists in the Magical Quadrant, which consists of the four states of being: Hot, Dry, Wet, and Cold. They believe that health and fate are both decided by the balance of these magical forces in the body.
While some rural healers or cunning folk may refer to themselves informally as 'leechweavers', it is generally an accredited vocation requiring a Noble Profession rank and membership to a sanctioned guild.
Leechweavers are seen as accredited physicians and soothsayers, and are capable of submitting official medical documents on behalf of their patients and clients.
