GM Bloodwoad Temple of Humours

The Bloodwoad Temple of Humours is a building in the Golden Medlar Valley and a location for the Order of Bloodwoad who regulate the use of Formalin as part of a wider network of Citron harvesting groups. The Temple of Humours is both a temple for the deity Nod but also a small hospital/clinic and school for Acolyta up to (and including) NP-L3.

What's the name of your building? Why?

• Golden Medlar Bloodwoad Temple of Humours
• The Bloodwoads are a wealthy tribe of Aphids, and others who made their fortune mining citron resources from the Koids. They are known for painting themselves with woad and also using it for many things.
• Humours are one method of healing, the other being the Doctrine of Signatures, both are taught here but Humours are a specialty

How does this building look and feel?

• The main building with the welcome/visitors centre has a wing for students and a wing for guests, including a kitchen/banquet hall (shared), classrooms and a small clinic/hospital wing for students and permanant residents
• There is a courtyard and large communal garden, where the temple adherers grow their herbs and vegetables, as well as a few vepulan trees which have become medlar trees.
• The temple is made of old growth wood wood from the area and sits on a silt pile. The plants are particularly vicious here as they buried a lot of people from an old accident. The temple itself is further up the hill in the valley and they have to go through a path built underground to get to it.
