I overhear a lucrative opportunity in a scummier bar, the local government (Aseni Republic of Vega) has misplaced some crates in a local asteroid belt where there was a training base. Benat nudges a little more and learns that the ship disappeared on it's way to a larger military training base, and they have a last known location
 
What is the cargo? millitary supplies, do we need a fence? they might be pleased we stole from the aseni republic of vega.
 
it takes us 3 days to get to the belt, I do get a return ping on my sensor reading, giving us a direction to head in (a bearing) it's been burning at a solid 1g ever since it went missing, after taking a space "left", it was initially going against the orbit of the belt, but has fallen into the asteroid belt's natural orbit.
 
We pursue this bearing for another 6 hours, fail, another 6 hours, and now I have a location and trajectory, it appears to be heading away from us at an unchanged buring rate, about 8 hours away.
 
after we reach out to offer assistance they respond "assistance not required, please leave"
 
They are in a solar sailor, it won't have a ton of weaponry, we would out gun them, but they seem to have installed an aftermarket m drive. We can totally bully them. we considered turning them in for treason, kinda wanna trail them, but our stealth systems are fuel hogs
 
we follow for another 12 hours, as they approach another large asteroid in the system, which does have laser pistols. so we peel away. we don't really have a reason to fuck shit up, and don't need our shit fucked.
at this point 2 weeks have passed, and we need to spend some time gassing up we pay 50k for gas, and jump to xin heinan get another study week
 
lots of active terraforming, they've been trying to rehab this planet for about 500 thousand years, after an early butchered exploration, mis-jump. This planet could be described as a bit of a "fixer upper"
 
i specifically spread along the "juicy" rumor here. we find a job doing cat delivery here on xin heinen we spend like 9 days here?
 
We jump to Xin guangdong and pick up 5 to 6 hundred cats. there really arent any other job opportunities here. Peter was able to get a government job delivering a diplomatic missive.
We need to make three animal rolls to successfully hendle the animals. none of us know much abouit animals. Peter does one roll, and Benat does the other two, and does them quite poorly.
 
All the cats go loose!! Benat loses a study period having to track them down and patch them up. Lucid is making some "The DoDo" quality video. Benat is cursing at the cats in syncestraean. the content does not go over well, keyboard warriors abound. a cat eats some of Aidans psy suppressants. these two cats have become telepathically linked, so benat needs to try and medic them better. they'll be fine.
 
we just open the cargo bay doors and the cats run out. we are all covered in cat scratches.
 
and then we travel back to guangdong.
