Mercenary Meanderings

We begin on the October 10th, Day 2. And can you believe it but, something happens again today. Halfway through Shift One, one of the shipbuilders checks the the sensors station and tells us there are incoming ground crafts.
 
Folks from Shift 1 take cover in a horse shoe configuration, to try and flank and ambush them. Mei is held back, but asked to suit up and be prepared regardless. Ion is going to be on the Laser Turret. He biffs 2 shots out of 3, but at least the one shot that connected absolutely exploded to smithereens.They really fucking want this ship, or to keep it away from the clients perhaps.
 
2 Grav Craft disembark, dropping 12 poorly armed folks. they do have vehicle scale laser canons glued to em. and three of those dues have battle dress and heavy weapons. "So they need to die now," Benat says.
 
They have different kinds of weapons, crackling with lightning and shit.
 
Ion Ion is on the Laser Turret, Vex, Isac, Benat, Dix, Urdush, Alana are also here. Castor decides to wake up too. Most people are in cover in various locations around the outer facility
 
Lawrence rolling for Vex, and Isac and Peter
Dana rolling for: Dix and Urdush and Jin
Gerd is rolling for : Castor and Alana and maybe Mei?
Frank is rolling for: Benat and Ion Ion and Ihero
 
Dix can't identify any weakspots on the battle dress, and fires at one of them, the gauss rifle just bounces right off the armor. Benat's shot has more success, but not as much as it should have because the uys in armos have some drugs on em
 
Hammer Boy is charging Benat and Ihero, and throws a grendae at them too. Thankfully he has terrible aim, so we can all guess why he usually uses a gravity hammer.
 
Plasma Bro takes a shot at Benat next. Benat ducks for cover, thankfully avoiding a hit.
 
Alana has one of the weapons that chopped up our old friend, aims and shoots. Peter is up in a turret. Making Dix, Urdush, and Jin the biggest target. So Urdush gets plugged full of holes, Dix just gets scraped.
 
Jin aims and shoots at Gatling Laser and punches into his armor.
 
Isac fires his laser rifle on one of the more lightly armored individuals who is running for one of their vehicle mounted weapons, and does some pretty good damage to one of them. Dix says "at least we can drop some of these varmints" as that individual runs away.
 
Ihero aims the hammer bro but unfortunately misses.
 
Gunners make some shots. Dix, takes a shot, Alana takes cover, and Ihero is missed. Dix is bleeding, but it could be worse.
 
Urdush gets into deeper cover, and makes a terrible pot shot. Vex drops one of the pirates heading for a vehicle., meaning only one got to the vehicle and has mounted a vehicle, another starts following. the 3 remaining slug fighters, start taking shots, but doesn't really land anyone.
 
Castor whips out micro kinesis to fuck with the battle canons batteries, but actually accomplishes nothing. all that appeared to happen is he stared into the distance for a little bit, one eye twitching, and nothing happens.
 
Peter takes his shot from the sniper post, but misses. Ion has the chance to clap some cheeks. He's wearing a condom. he aims in the sort of direction of the plasma cannon. Ion continues to eat shit despite having very good skills.
 
Dix tries to shoot Laser mister and doesnt get much done. Benat goes for mister plasma, hits the plasma collector, which gets torn out by the bearer, and tosses it at benat and ihero. He does fall down, but they get hit by essentially a plasma grenade. they take cover, putting the building at risk, but there's only the two other plasma weapons coming online.
 
And then Benat gets smacked by a big boy big big hammer.
 
alana says "fuck it we ball" and her bullet bounces off the armor.
 
Getling Bro unloads in Dix's face. (Not how I usually enjoy having gentlemen unload in my face)so he dodges out of the way, lets the building take some.
 
Jin fires at Gatling Guy, it hurt, pretty significantly. Isac misses real bad. He's having a very bad no good terrible day actually.
 
The building takes 2 shots when isac dodges some gauss fire. a critical piece of machinery takes one of those shots and is spraying bits all over the place. Urdush whiffs another shot from deep cover. Vex drops the guy heading for the vehicle weapon. Then Vex takes a hit, drops, and might fucking die.
 
at least Ion finally lands a hit on something. He's figured out how to turn on Targeting, and blows a ship and a couple dudes sky high.
 
Dix auto fires at two of the guys with gauss rifles, hits one who stands his ground, and the other runs away.
 
Ihero's head explodes under Hammer bro's Hammer.
 
Gatling meets his end at Mei's hands. Jin fails to get through hammer's armor.
 
some more shit goes bad, two people run away on foot, and now we just looking at Hammer Bro, who is probably drugged and in a frenzy.
 
Benat lands the last shot onto the Hammer Bro
 
Benat is able to do first aid on Vex to put him up to Critical condition.
 
Castor yanks away our battle dress friends, whose armours are technically salvageable, but it will need to be repaired, which will cost as much as buying fresh battle dress. Logically this shit is totalled. We still throw it into the luggage compartment.
 
Ihero is given a little burial. It's crazy how well armed these fucking Pirates are. Jin starts to investigate, finding evidence of the previous mercenary companie, and evidence of a special band of pirates, whose name is "The Space King", and they're who were wearing the battle dress. The Space King seems to have some space support that maybe our ship should do some of the shooting at.
 
Benat patches some people together. unfortunately ihero is beyond fixing.
