Our very good friend we knew for a long time Ihero has died, and now we are stuck here an extra 12 hours.
So for revenge we would like to try to sneak attack The Space King.

Castor salvages 2 of the battledress suits from the lobsters. They will need an expensive repair.
Ion, Peter, Lucid leave for a 2 hour sensor sweep of the planet, finding no evidence of The Space King or The Red Queen.
The system has 5 planets and 2 belts, which are pretty far away and would take too long for anyone to arrive before the end of our contract.

Proceed to Escort Mission. From Scientia to Arendt, which will require 1 week in jump space.
After a successful hand off, we go to Miracle to get some cash money.
Lucid is spying on the Mercs, getting to know them from a distance. Ion Ion goes to a bar with Peter, and does bring someone back, being quite obvious about it. Lucid is trying to figure out details about Luquia specifically, and see's her going home with a handsome gentleman. Urdush went to one of the seediest bars.
Lucid and Benat are having a chat about her having a lack of direction. Benat suggests joinging the Syncestraean Marines. Clearly she cannot. Castor rolls in stinking of barley wine, offering cryptic advoce. Benat checks his eyes with a flashlight, and Castor doesnt respond for at least 30 seconds. Lucid thinks he may have brain damage, but it's psionic bullshit.
"Weird Thought-" Castor puts his drinks away, "You wouldn't be interested in like- putting- selling some stuff, shooting some stuff from the front in one of the battle dresses.
On the next jump, Benat is delivering soup to the wounded, and Lucid follows behind, crunching up crackers and pouring them on the soup for them. Astrid is offended and asks for a promotion. Lucid calls over Peter, making a money gesture. Peter and Astrid negotiate an injury bonus.
We get paid a 6 milly woot woot.
Lucid and Jin talk about Expert Wafers, after Lucid gets a wafer jack installed.
Everyone is afraid of Lucid becoming a shut n who interacts with the world through her robots. Lucid ends up buying 3 chips at level 3 each to try out, Xeno-technology, Investigation, and Gambler. She plugs in the Gambling chip, and asks around who is interested in joinging her in trying it out.
Lucid finds a nice gambling den, somewhat spicy, but no cock fighting. Peter, Castor, and Jin. Lucid is able to make a moderate win, before she is politely asked to cease her betting. Jin made out with a milly.
