The Journal Entry’s title

another week and a day have passed, so Lucid finishes her book about electronics remote ops.
 
Aidan becomes an almost demeaning/insulting sort of host at a host cafe. Genevieve pays us 250,000 credits, which is to be deposited into our gas fund. We pick up 5 tonnes of flash drives in New Raqqa for Actium
 
On Actium I learned that theres been a raid of vaporators in a small town. We want to check out the site where they were attacked, we should investigate it secretly. We are going to rent a vehicle, and Lucid selects yee yee ass outfits for the whole crew. 10 credits per person, except Lucid's set will be somewhat more flashy, but not so far as to undermine the intention of flying under the radar.
 
Lucid's suit cost her 100 credits, so the shopping was 130 total
 
To decide where to land our ship we have to do math and science about super earth and distance of the horizon. We take the big ship to just out of eye sight of the site, and take our rented vehicle from there to the site. The raft will then take about 30 minutes to reach the site.
 
Lucid/Droid stay with the ship as the men go to check out the site. Benat has a large poncho on on top of his flak jacket and desert suit. He has his Gauss Rifle with him.
 
Peter is "just the driver" so he has aviators and a fringe jacket that trails in the wind, also motorcycle gloves.
 
Aidan has more of a brown leather jacket.
 
On the site, we find some armoured trucks, pretty damaged, and another vehicle that might be fixable, with an open bed.
 
We are in a rocky area, fewer sand dunes. I think it's that one set of rocks near hollywood. Armoured trucks were hit pretty nasty. Don't see any bodies. Only obvious blast marks are on the armoured cars.
 
Aidan takes a closer look at the blast marks, and doesn't find any more. He determines that it was more of a pin point weapon than artillery. Very precise violence. could be TL 5 or TL 18.
 
Benat investigates the direction of the attack, where they might have attacked from etc. They were attacked from the South, as they were heading East
 
Benat tries to look at for tracks but fails to figure anything out.
 
They go to look for the attack spot in the south. They ambushed from within a narrow canyon? In this new location, we get the vague sense that they headed north. We don't see much in the way of vehicle tracks. there are some foot prints, but ground was dispersed by an air craft or grav vehicle, which went north from this location, but could have gone any number of locations.
 
Benat looks for shell casings, doesn't find any.
 
Our plan from here, we want to go back to town and speak to this guy who had his vaporator jacked, and see about arranging for a decoy vaporator drop so that we can be a part of his delivery team. in the meanwhile we will speak to other unhappy vaporator customers. information might be leaking about vaporator orders and deliveries from the downstation.
