10. Some time away

Dear father,
I hope you have been well recently. Our holiday is perfectly splendid. Just the weather was a bit warmer than I expected. You see, our friends took us to their holiday house. It is a quiet place in the middle of the nature. We spend most of our days talking with each other and walking around.

The other day, we were in the library and I have discovered a secret chamber. Hehe, not even the owners of the house knew about this one. Nerissa scolded me for intruding their place but i feel like i did something right. We found a weird book that is written in a language I did not understand. Maybe I should start reading more, just like Talion.

Sometimes we talk about our memories. It is a nice feeling to remember all that you have been through and laugh at them. Even the bad ones, now seem so far away that they can't affect us anymore. And yet, I've come to realize some mistakes could cost us more than we can imagine. Luckily for me, most of the mistakes I do is to fall while training.

Also, I never told you about our friends. Let me start with the queen. Her name is Sophie and she is one of the most protective people I have ever known. She is trying to be an example for all of her people. I really like her. We could become really good friends. And of course, she has the sweetest husband. He is always by her side and motivating her in everything she does. They are also very powerful, or so they seem to me. Hope one day, you will meet them too.

Also I think i caught a cold, I am not feeling the best. But i am pretty sure it will pass soon. I will keep you updated. Take care of yourself and I love you. 'Till we meet again.
