The Schwabhausen Rebellion

Holy Emperor Karl Folly is willing to end the three year long civil war and invites the leader of the rebellion, Xander Schwabhausen, to attend peace talks. Xander, hoping to bring an end to the prolonged conflict, agrees and travels with a convoy to the capital. But he is also wary of this sudden offer and hires a party of adventures to escort him instead of his most skilled captains. So they are not captured or killed should this be a trap.
