Heather Isles
The Heather Isles is a large island chain in the north of Dracosei. It is a generally cold environment, with many ice and light dragons calling these islands home.
Geography
The heather isles are almost a hundred metres above sea level. Every island is a large mountain, volcano, or just a very large mound of rock. The island is covered in snow and large trees, coupled with a blanket of heather plants. On almost all of the island, during sunrise and sunset, you'll witness the beautiful Sun casting its burning glory on the ocean.
Ecosystem Cycles
Not a lot of dragons call this place home in the winter, as it is too cold, even for most ice dragons. They migrate further south during the autumn, to spend winter months in a slightly warmer place. Then, when those islands become too warm in the spring/summer, they leave and come back to the Heather Isles.
Fauna & Flora
As previously mentioned, most of the dragons that live on these islands are ice dragons and light dragons. The legendary Iciqueen lives in the mountain in the largest island, in a cave deep underground. The plant life is scarce here, due to the harsh conditions, not much can grow. As well as the Iciqueen, the Sunspitter also calls this place home, living in a cave within the tallest mountain on the island west of the Iciqueen's.
