Deliah was a small sentient contraption built by Vyktyr Strutheo of Meskaovania using a certain form of Dimensional Magic. She mapped the path of the Strutheo Star in the early Heroic Age, and her findings changed the world.

Creation

Deliah was born in the early Heroic Age, built to map the stars of Visctheria's skies. She was created by combining Dimensional Magic with the clockwork mechanics of the time period, which allowed her a form of sentience that no other mechanics had achieved.

Life

Deliah spent much of her "youth" studying the hand-drawn star charts that had been produced by various Arcanists throughout the Deific Age. When she had studied all she could, Strutheo began to make regular trips with her to Mount Archeros, where she would watch the stars and chart their movements. One fateful night, Deliah found something no one expected.

Findings

The comet known as the Strutheo Star appeared on Deliah's finished chart one early morning, and Vyktyr quickly brought her findings to the Meskaovanian government. While they urged him to keep his findings secret, he had already sent the results to Croyla, where they published Deliah's chart in a journal that would make history.

Impact

The chart Deliah printed eventually became the most famous star chart in the world, guiding sailors across oceans, and later explorers through the stars. Visctheria's view of the night sky was taught in schools, universities, and entire courses were taught on the chart in the Astrology courses at Zareya's Academy for the Magically Inclined.

Vyktyr Strutheo, an Arcanist and later founder of the Voltiar, wanted to study the stars as a favor to his friends the People of the Gentle Stars in Croyla. They suspected that because the world had so vastly changed after the Shattering, that the stars might have changed as well. They had no idea that while the stars remained the same, what would become known as the Strutheo Star was also due to pass by.
