Scale Council (skāl ˈkounsəl)
The Scale Council is the first organization and form of government the world of Aurora ever witnessed. It was founded by the ancient Gem dragons who had reached more than a millennia of age. Its intent was to monitor and keep those who would desire to wreak havoc within the Origin Peaks, the land they were born in, in check. Most dragons of metallic descent approved of the idea, while the more wild chromatics felt the rules put in place where prejudiced against them, which caused a revolt which ended with the exile of chromatic dragons from the Origin Peaks.
Structure
The Council has a simple structure. There are those who are called wyrmlings, too young to be qualified a voice on the council and the elders, who had lived long enough to be recognized as capable of wise decisions for the sake of dragonkind.
Public Agenda
The intent behind its creation was to assure safety within the peaks, as well as guide dragonkind towards a future free of strife and misery.
A darker side of the organization came to be later, with the birth of the Chroma Conclave. Intending on keeping them under control, the Council's Claws were born to ensure there were as little elder chromatic dragons as possible. Spying, blackmail, assassination, nothing was too much to keep then in line.

The Origin Peaks are the ancestral lands of dragons, the council has keept them under its control and protection since the birth of intelligent life.
Mythology & Lore
As The Star Forger's children, they all know instinctively that he his the rason for their birth in this world. As such they only believe in him as the supreme being overseeing the cosmos.
Cosmological Views
The world was born as Aurelion Sol wanted it to, born from the creation of its sun and the subsequent blessing of the Dragon God.
Tenets of Faith
All dragons are sons of the astral one.
All are inferior to him, dragonkin are the only ones worthy of his favor.
Granted Divine Powers
The Star Forger has left to make new worlds and continue working on his cosmic canvas, none are able to commune with him. However his blessing is already everpresent on the world, magic is everywhere thanks to him.
