The Star Forger
Aurelion Sol
God of Creation, the Star Forger
Within the infinity of primordial space a hand larger than space itself, yet gentler than the softest silk, opens to reveal the first rays of a newborn star.
—"Hmm… lacking, perhaps this one needs a sibling?"
Stardust condenses, and a second one appears to its side.
—"There! Nothing kindles wonder like the beauty of the stars."
The almighty being known as Aurelion Sol Aurelion Sol was already ancient before the rise of the mortal races of Aurora. Born in the first breath of creation, he and those like him roamed the vast nothingness of a pristine celestial realm, seeking to fill this canvas of incalculable breadth with marvels whose twinkling spectra would bring fulfillment and delight to all who witnessed them.
During his travels he stumbled upon an interesting world, one lacking a sun, yet showing signs of having once been a thriving planet. On a whim he creates a sun for it, curious to see what could appear on such a world. He additionnaly offers his favor to the creatures of this world, allowing draconics creatures of all kinds to be born earlier than most. Then, taking inspiration from his favorite materials he discovered within his journey, he shaped the first of what would become known as "True Dragons", the Chromatic and gem Dragons. They would be both his greatest creation within the fledgling Aurora, and its guardians.
Aurelion could not ignore the pull of the cosmos for long however, and soon left this world to fend for itself. Not before creating what would become known as The Veil first however, a cosmic shield which would disallow both detection and entry within the Veiled realms by beings like it in power.
With this final task done, he left Aurora behind, not intending on meddling with his creation unless truly necessary.
Return
Millenias after he left his creation, Aurelion felt the veil he'd surrounded Aurora with weaken, somehow his creations had grown enough to affect it, incidentaly calling otherworldly beings to them. wishing for his creation to remain his, he went back, with the intent on eradicating any intruders and reinforcing the veil, both limiting the power its inhabitants could obtain, and garanteeing no other incursions would occur.
When he finally reached it, he sadly discovered too much had changed for him to simply remove the invaders and start from scratch. So he did the next best thing, killed all the gods who'd tried to claim his world, erased their followers memories of such beings, and exiled the Fractured Abyss to the Astral realm, isolating it as much as possible from Aurora.
With the invaders pushed back, he judged that mayhap his dragons wouldnt be enough to safeguard the realms. As such he created two Gods to guide the mortals which had been left without guidance.
