Cassidy was born on the 7th of Omoni, 9212 of the Fifth Era, in a hospital in Hakea. She was born during a dust storm, but was fortunate that this didn't affect her health. Being a female kitsune, most of her childhood was spent in her family's estate and the shrines of Inaru. The most important day of Cassidy's life is the fourth of Omoni, 9212, the day her parents died. She took on the care of her siblings without hesitation, and realized she needed a job, something that was daunting for someone raised rather reclusively. Having few skills that would get her a high paying job, Cassidy joined C.A.R.E., and helped form the team PH0X-79, making friends outside of Hakea for the first time in the form of Clover Allaband, Thistle Katz, Kaden Lushyu, and Damian Elrod. Despite no one at the agency having any real expectations for her, Cassidy quickly proved herself to be both extremely intelligent and an extremely powerful mage. Cassidy was surprised by how at home she felt with other adventurers, and has come to enjoy her job.

Cassidy considers herself feminine in presentation, but most other kitsuni would consider her fairly butch. She has very little interest in typically feminine things, and has little time to attend to her siblings when she's busy working outside of their home to ensure their comfort and safety.

Most of Cassidy's feminine presentation comes in the form of her clothing and magic techniques.

Cassidy is biromantic and asexual. She has a strong preference toward masculine presenting people, but does not care about the sex of a romantic prospect, as it's unlikely to come up in a way that matters to her. She's mildly adverse to touch in general and is especially adverse to sexual or sensual touch. She dislikes having to hear or see anything pertaining to sex, whether it applies to her or anyone near her.

Cassidy is amenable to physical affection, but it must be initiated by her, and she rarely does so outside of her immediate family. (This is fairly normal within Kitsuni and Dygsamian culture, but Cassidy is more touch adverse than most.)

Like most kitsuni, Cassidy was homeschooled. Her extreme intelligence made giving her a challenging and worthwhile educational pace difficult, but her parents managed thanks to a combination of specialized tutors for each subject and Cassidy's natural curiosity and desire to learn. She spent much of her free time in her family's library and the shrines of Inaru, teaching herself the art of evocation.

Cassidy's first employment was under C.A.R.E., with PH0X-79.

Cassidy is extremely intelligent. She's able to learn extremely quickly, understanding the basics of an entirely new skill within a day and memorize spells in less than an hour. Her memory is extremely impressive, and her ability to discern the arcane arts surpasses it by a lot.

Cassidy takes great care to always be well groomed, especially when it comes to preening her tails. She has a pleasant scent, at least by the standards of kitsuni.

Cassidy also has a slight note of fox musk from the natural oils her fur produces, but it's not very strong and is difficult to detect to anyone without a nose at least as sensitive as a kitsune's. The oils are helpful to keeping her fur healthy and keeps her tails safe from being burned or getting dirty.

Cassidy's immediate family consists of her parents, Kamau and Adhra, and her siblings, Hugh and Kori.

Cassidy is considered her sibling's legal guardian, but their relationship generally remains that of siblings.

Cassidy comes from a long line of priestesses and shrine maidens, and her family is well connected to Inaru Osui, the goddess and protector of Kitsuni. She isn't a shrine maiden herself but grew up around many of them and practices magic with the same techniques.

Muffin

Before her parents' untimely deaths, Cassidy and her siblings were given a toy poodle called Muffin for the twins' birthday. Hugh and Kori are responsible for caring for Muffin when Cassidy is away, but Muffin adores Cassidy and is always excited to see her come home. Cassidy loves Muffin too, and is always happy to see him.

Bento Boxes

On the rare occasions Cassidy has the time, she loves to make her siblings and friends cute and tasty box lunches. She has a large collections of shaped cutters, lunch boxes, utensils, thermoses, bottles, and molds. There's nothing more fun and relaxing to Cassidy than hand making cute, tasty food for her loved ones. Due to her usual business, she almost never makes them for herself.

Cassidy's vocal range is surprisingly vast, but her normal speaking range is fairly average. She's an alto but has access to the squeaky, high pitched vocalizations of foxes. She has a thick dygsamian accent.

Cassidy's family is vastly wealthy. She inherited a third of her parents' net worth, including her family's estate and responsibility for her siblings. Most of her money goes into caring for her siblings, so she has little actual liquid equity from her inheritance. Her own career is lucrative enough to provide a reasonably comfortable life for her, her siblings, and their dog.
