Cassidy's Foxtail Staff

Cassidy's foxtail staff typically manifests as a spear heavily influenced by her Yellow-Green tail. It rarely takes on the characteristics and chroma provided by her red tail due to her preference for casting evokation magic by hand. The red tail only sees use in her staff for the rare occasions the risk of burning herself is higher than she's willing to accept or that would be extremely difficult to maintain otherwise, such as for spells like Flame Ward or Phosphorous.

The few times another person has been allowed to use Cassidy's staff, the staff has proven itself to be extremely volatile and reactive, which is characteristic for foxtail staffs in the hands of anyone other than their respective kitsune. While simply handling the staff is not enough to get this reaction, attempting to use it as a focus is, effectively making her staff an extremely temperamental spear for everyone else.
