Frost Drifter

The Frost Drifter is a highly mobile vehicle that are commonly found in Albard side of Jana. An inventive design derived from the hover bikes of the Northern Suns. They are run by a portable Tri-Core battery or small Anima crystals that keep it slightly off the surface to reduce drag. Medium sized thrusters push it forward and are capable of omni-direction. Frost Drifters are versatile in most harsh winter environments with capabilities to survive snow storms. Its engines are modified to survive colder conditions and a small field is projected around the driver to protect them from the elements.   High-End Frost Drifters are imported and are the typical models for Law Enforcement use. They are powered by both, a common pseudo-static-type Anima crystal, and a Tri-Core portable. They are very energy efficient which makes them a great choice for collectors when mechanics design them to be unique or with a certain style. Due to their MagiTech construction a High-End Frost Drifter can be easily altered to meet the needs of the user. Modifications to the vehicles include: Miniature force fields, overclocking thrusters, flight, submersible, heating, mounted guns, side-cars, and many other features that proficiency in mechanical tinkering could provide.   Low-End Frost Drifters are built from recycled materials and often lack the carefully added Anima crystals that the original designs possess. This makes them more susceptible to direct damage and wounds that expose the Tri-Core to the environment and depower the entire vehicle. Their thrusters and displacement systems produce a considerable amount of heat which has led to modifications that turn the vehicle into a shelter of sorts. Some of the poorer Albardines use the Drifters as a single-person mobile homes because of this.
