MagiTech

Magical Technology, also known as Magitech, is a Northern Suns invention that greatly improved the communal lives of their citizens. Magitech in its earlier years was often found in smaller forms as mages and scientists alike attempted to use Anima and the various types that were produced in industrial machines. Its discovery allowed scientists to gap bridges in science that may not have been possible otherwise. It is a commonly used type of equipment as the Anima is reusable and acts as a good substitute energy source.   They are a part of every division of technology including weaponry, armor, medical equipment, and infrastructure. Although it is very versatile, the correct Anima must be used to allow the right equipment to function. Magitech machines extract energies from the Anima embedded within to flow through the functional technology and designate actions those energies must take. This takes the form of firing the corresponding energy as the trigger is pulled, the starting of a vehicle, or activation of a force field. Magitech tinkerers and mages are sought after for their diversity in knowledge. Trainees in this classification need a reputable indication that they understand both technology and magic.   Technologically invented equipment often has Magitech iterations of the same product. Although most Penta-Core and Tri-Core batteries are produced with material and wiring, sometimes Anima is used to make them self sustaining or to increase their capacity. The increase in this diversity also makes way for illegal and fraudulent trade. An item purchased as Magitech may not have any magical properties whatsoever, or machinery that claims to be holding a certain kind of Anima may also be hiding other properties that are valuable for vandalistic behavior. Some Magitech is incredibly expensive due to how many resources they are required to build, such as the Tenmon gates.
