Clan Invaders

"What forces dare defend this world from the steel fangs of Clan Nova Cats? State your forces and challenge us on the battlefield of your choice!"

The Invasion has Begun

The Clan Invaders was originally an I'lix Coalition mining colony that had recently seceded from the faction and became independent. After amassing a large army of specially armored battlemechs, giant space cruisers, and fleets of drop ships, they have begun a campaign invading planets after systems from the outer reaches of the Imotaiyo Federation and are making headway towards the core worlds.

Time Before Space.

These Clanners originated from a hidden society that operated under the shadows shortly after the Great Koreander collapsed on itself, around the time of the Awakening and realization of super powers. They were known as the Koreander Brotherhood of Revival and were managed by three major clan families: the Nua, Gwisin, and Fabhcún. Their objective was to use whatever money, resources, and manpower they had left to maintain order in the ruined nation, to prevent enemy nations from taking more land, and ultimately to return Great Koreander to its former glory. After generations of fighting all odds, the Great Koreander had been constantly taken advantage of by neighboring nations and lack the necessary means to reclaim its original status as a prideful empire.

Solar Wars

The Great Koreander were swept into the formation of the I'lix Coalition lead by Brantyl and Zania and were given a low status among the ranks of other nations such as Zania, Mailee, Vernio. Having no say or authority, the Brotherhood grew bitter resentment to their 'allies' and had no choice but to bow their heads and follow along their direction in order to ensure the Great Koreander does not disappear from the map. Despite deploying whatever military the Great Koreander had left, their armada were so under maintained and outdated they were nothing more than target practice for the Norther Sun Federation's advanced Ka-2 magitech mechas developed by Okawa Corporation. By the end of the war the Great Koreander and the Brotherhood barely survived the ordeal and were able to prove themselves enough to prevent the Coalition in turning them into a province or state of another country. Even so their loss and castualty was high, along with their hatred for the Coalition and the other worlds. That was until the race for space elevators and interstellar colonization commenced where the Brotherhood saw an opportunity to turn their luck around.

Colony of Gygax

Among the many colonial ships, majority of the Brotherhood were able to ride on one ship that was destined for a planet in the farthest possible reaches of the Imotaiyo Federation. It was christened Gygax and the Brotherhood secretly set their new base of operations there among the immigrants and colonials. Gygax was planet full of unique metals that were capable of enhanced durability, so much so even a super with enhanced strength could not easily bend it with raw power, and they discovered special gas vapors which is capable of reflecting light or even laser based tools. And thus the Brotherhood set their plans into motion.   Step 1. Rally the people. Members and hidden agents of the Brotherhood started to sow discontent and spread propaganda against the local governing forced. They acted on the discontent of the colonists due to their poor living conditions, high mortality rate in the mining process, corruption of government officials, and bolstered patriotism among the Koreander Immigrants. This soon lead to the fires of revolution and the Brotherhood were able to borrow the rage and might of the colonist to overthrow the I'lix controllers out of their seat and thus allowing them to take over key planetary locations. Once they had control of the entire planet they fortified their defenses and began the next phase of their plan.   Step 2. The new governing order of Gygax operated by members controlled by the Koreander Brotherhood began to use I'lix Coalition technology to mass produce battlemechs. They integrated refined metals harvested from the planet to reinforce their battle armor as well as combined the light-reflecting gas vapors to form an overshield to increase anti-energy weapon defenses. With a simplistic design of favoring armor and firepower over maneuverability they were able to produce enough mechs to take control of several I'lix military outposts that were still hiding on Gygax.   Step 3. The Brotherhood were successful in taking over an orbital shipyard and hijacked two large space cruisers the I'lix Coalition had been building in secret due to its remote location in the Imotaiyo Federation map. They began to produce new Koreander space battleships and array of heavily armored dropships to carry their mechs and their new army to fortify their planetary defenses. This in turn began their initial campaign of taking over neighboring planets and asteroid fields controlled by I'lix Coalition, Northern Suns Federation, and Yedian Union. From this point on, the three family clans became more prominent in their campaign and renamed themselves as Clan Nova Cats, Clan Ghost Bear, and Clan Jade Falcon.   Due to their finite sources and Gygax being drained of its supplies, the Clans developed a sort of battle tradition in which they would challenge and declare how much forces they will deploy when invading a planet. This soon became a mainstream habit in order to conserve of firepower, to prevent all battlemechs being out of action when repairing, and they acquired a taste for capturing and reusing enemy equipment, soldier, and technology to extend their operation time.

Tenmon Gate and the Divide

The Clanners were successful in taking control of their entire system, having Gygax be designated the capital planet. After years of invading neighboring planets and driving out Federation forces from the sector, the Clanners had the entire system to themselves, a pocket kingdom in the vast universe. The Jade Falcon clan turned their attention to managing the many planets and to divert vital supplies back to Gygax as their constant mech and ship productions have drained the planet. The Nova Cats, however, were not satisfied with as their true objective is to return the Great Koreander to its former glory. Without consulting the Jade Falcon and Ghost Bear they launched an independent skirmish to capture a (Tenmon Gate which would allow them to venture out and fight in other systems.   A large disagreement ignited between the three Clan groups. The Jade Falcon believed venturing any further than their home would not only cause Gygax to collapse from the war effort the Imotaiyo Federation would no longer turn a blind eye to them and will be forced to retaliate, thus putting the clan's home world at risk. In an act of betrayal the leader of the Nova Cat had the Jade Falcon leader assassinated and coerced the Ghost Bears to join them. In these event, the remaining Jade Falcon clan became targeted by their own brethren and they fought their way out with whatever ships and forces they had. Able to reach the Tenmon Gate before it could properly defend itself, the Jade Falcons jumped into the Tendou and escaped.

Conquest and Exiles

Since the split, the Jade Falcon suffered heavy damages and lost contact with their major repair supplies. They forced themselves into exile and scattered their remaining units across various planets to remain unnoticed by both the Imotaiyo Federation and any of their fellow Clanners following them. In hopes to stop the rest of the Clanners from causing enough damage to exact vengeance from the Imotaiyo Federation, the Jade Falcon in exile have been regathering strength to fight back their brothers and hope to return home.   In the mean time the Nova Cats and Ghost Bear combined their forces and began their campaign, using the Tenmon to jump to different systems. With their ferocity as seasoned warriors and soldiers they began to take over other planets from the outer reaches towards the middle, sending back salvage and resources to their home world to build more mechs and ships.

Batchall

A Battle Challenge. The Clanners travel far from their homeworld and lacks means of rapid resupply and reinforcements. When they conquer other systems, they are careful with how much firepower, ammunition, and manpower they deploy in a battle field often starting in a series of short tactical fights to capture key grounds. They often use a Batchall and for a war negotiation with their opponent. Here they meet on neutral terms, share how many forces they are willing to use, the winning and losing conditions, and location. This was to minimize losses and focus only on a small group of their strongest warriors. Many times this has been an effective tactic on the long run and the Clanners have acquired many planets this way with minimal damages. In saying that, some Federation commanders often use their Warrior Code against them to either trap, trick, or even stall for time while they evacuate valuable assets and civilians.
