Okawa Corporation

"Okawan Quality, Okawan Care."   Founded in 3790 K.U., the Okawa Corporation was created by renowned Jewel Mage, Kaya Okawa, after receiving a grant from Kaori to improve the Northern Sun's magical technology. With war looming on the horizon, Okawa began development of a new design of the popular mecha that the Federation heavily employed and created a new line that would dominate in the following Solar Wars known as the Ka-2, that was notable for incredible operation time as it was able to function for as long as the pilot had the stamina to power it.   When the Solar Wars broke out, Okawa used the money he had made from developing the new design and began to manufacture the mechs in mass numbers for his government, resulting in the Northern Sun's Federation having a considerable edge in the air for a great deal of the war. Okawa, meanwhile, amassed a fortune from the many contracts he made with the Federation during the war.   Once I'ltoanl was unified into the Imotaiyo Federation and peace resumed, Okawa sought new ventures. While his mecha production continued to profit as the vehicles were needed to help defend the expanding Federation and its colonies, the Jewel Mage decided to pursue the passions that lead him to being interested in mechs in the first place. Working its way into the manga and anime sectors, the ever-growing Okawa Corporation began to produce its own popular series and various merchandise to go with it.   Now, Okawa Corporation stands as an industry giant in multiple sectors as it develops and produces mechs both generic and luxury custom pieces, manga, anime, and merchandise in the form of model kits, figurines, branded items, and more. Some of their most popular (and profitable) items are custom-ordered mecha, often based off series that the corporation produces, and their unique magitech merchandise such as figurines and model kits that are infused with anima, allowing them to animate on their own and produce unique special effects. These figurines, in particular, have had an entire series of tabletop games built around them from mecha wargames to roleplaying games featuring characters made by its player.
