The moment all four rulers gave their lives to end the Atlantis War.

The Winter King Hiemal felt responsible for the sinking of Atlantis, and the war that ensued. It weighed on him greatly over the course of nearly a century. The mages and witches of Winter found a spell to create a barrier to hold back the Voidborn, but it needed the exceptional magic of the rulers, and would end in fading. He was going to do it by himself, but the other rulers interveened, insisting they needed to do it together for it to truly work.
As the Voidborn took over the Winter Realm and began to enter the portals, the four rulers of the realms came together and invoked the spell together, sacrificing themselves for all. This became known as The Great Sacrifice.
Unknown to many, Titian, the Spring Queen diverted the smallest bit of her life force toward the phoenix Summer King, just enough to send him into a death like sleep but tether his soul to his body.
