Leudran
Around a thousand years ago there was a great war within the Tolleschaft Archipelago. This war was between the houses of the Leudran islands and their overlord, King Gotthard von Krehl. For decades, the Leudrans had felt oppressed and abused by the von Krehl's and so began a great revolt with the turn of the 41st century. This revolt, however, ended in disaster for the Leudran's with the climatic Battle of Rodgate seeing their forces demolished by von Krehl's enormous army. And so many of them fled their island home in defeat. After years of searching for a new home, they found one on the Island of Altesland, on the other side of Jarindos. House Weston, the largest of the fleeing houses, settled on the banks of the Dunkel River, whereas the rest of the houses had too find settlements far into the homes of the native Altescine people, in turn forcing them out of their territory into the far east of the island (thus beginning the century long rivalry between the Leudran and the Altescine). Since, the Leudran have settled and thrived in their new island home, with the Duchy of Ostenshire (the duchy of House Weston) making fast friends with the Kingdom of Beaudoir and building the third largest navy in the world.

Ideals
Beauty Ideals
In the past, Leudrans have been very reserved in their attire and beauty standards, typically wearing dark, simple color, and keeping makeup to a minimal. It was typically only larger material possessions that would distinguish a noble from the commoners. However, in recent year customs from the Kingdom of Beaudoir have begun to make their way into upper-class society within the Island of Altesland. Nobles have begun to wear more flashy, ostentatious garbs, and have taken to keeping themselves fit and healthy. Corsets have begun quite popular with Leudran women, even the poorer folk, and the white wigs and colourful suits of Beaudoir have become popular with male nobles.
Gender Ideals
Unlike the Coraxians, Leudran society is a deeply rooted patriarchy, with the oldest males typically holding the most sway (depending on how old the king is). Women are unable to own land (unless the only remaining heir), vote, or take out loans, and are generally not as well respected as men. Despite this, there are occasions in which a well-respected and independent women has risen to higher standings within Leudran society, however, this is rare. Modesty, loyalty and respect are all desired trait within a woman. However, with the burgeoning relationship with the Kingdom of Beaudoir the rules built to oppress women are becoming more lax.
