La'ulu

Heavy Work In Process, this is a real language I've been creating for years excluding the inhuman means of communication.

The Song, as it's colloquially known, is the language of Na'Daoine. Named such due to the audible portion being sung (instead of spoken) with a poetic verse, it is rarely heard by outsiders, but those blessed enough for it to grace their ears are enthralled as if by Sirens and not just due to it's beauty for it's contents hold within the Power of Law. Ironically, the language can only truly be spoken by Silentiun since at least half of the language is non-verbal - consisting of patterns, lights, pheromones, and other such phenomena Na'Daoine use to communicate between themselves.

The written language is even more rarely seen, as only The Outer Sect keeps written record in a form available for others to view since Silentiun have access to The Network which contains all their collective knowledge. Despite this, The Network did not always exist and Maître created a scrolling yet cryptic piece of art that is it's written form. In appearance the text appears to be somewhere between Tengwar of the Lord of the Rings world and real world languages like Arabic and Burmese.

Geographical Distribution

Ihmisen Keh'to and all other locations in which Na'Daoine reside.

Vocabulary

Laulu is a composite language (as most are), primarily comprised of Irish and Finnish with smatterings of Scots-Gaelic and Maori.
Common Phrases
Everything within the setting is named in La'ulu fashion from Ihmisen Keh'to and the various ethnicities of humans within it, despite the language only being spoken by Na'Daoine. The reason for this is because everything is recorded from the perspective of Maître Na'Daoine and her children the Silentiun.
