Locations - TSWK
In a continully developing campaign and world, some things change while others remain the same. From small caves to continents, you will slowly traverse the world and kill off the creatures that plague it. Just in case you forgot where you are or where you are going, this article serves to help you remember the places that exist within the world that you have heard about or visited. While some places will be more campaign specific, others will be a written long ago or for another purpose. Whenever the -TSWK tag is on an article you can assume that most information on that page is known to your characters. For other places you can use your own discretion to consider what you would know and remember.
Cities
You are in the meritocracy of Nicandria on the continent of Ëndria. While you are in the geographical centre of the nation, it is on the outskirt of trade and travel. You have visited the following cities/settlements:
Dewshore
On a lake in the middle of Nicandria lies the former trade hub of Dewshore. Due to corruption and loss of the northern land there are far fewer caravans that use the path but some trade is still used over the lake.
Minhome
A small village that once upon a time could have grown into a great city now relies on crops harvested by its neighbour Dewshore and only survives due to a great export of iron and silver ore. It sadly lacks the protection it needs to keep itself safe but thanks to mercenaries like yourself it still has hope.
You have also been in several other cities (through background) or heard of them during your adventure.
- Estinisca (Nicandria) - The capital of Nicandria lies south of Dewshore where House Blackstone has their seat of power.
- Iron City (Nicandria) - Lies along the western border next to Eden's Gate that serves as the wall between the Scorch and Nicandria. This is where the great House Rothspard has their necromancers work tirelessly to keep the border safe.
- Bluestone (Nicandria) - On the eastern border facing the Confluence Sea lies the mercantile city of Bluestone that most international trade passes through and where House Grayfeather has their mages and merchants.
Locations
Outside of the cities lies thick forests, vast plains and imposing mountains. Travelling between settlements takes times as they usually occur few a far between each others, requiring multiple days on horseback at least. But out here lies countless secrets and treasures to uncover, hostile forces to intercept and even some places where you can just relax and maybe even find a new friend. Some of these places you have already visited, some you only hear the whispers of never to see yourselves. It your choice what secrets to uncover, and where the journey takes you.
Landscapes
Mountains, seas, forests and plains are never fully explored but travelled through. Within them lies ruins to explore, shines where you could seek guidance and caves where friend or foe might have made their residence.
- Botrusberg lies surrounding Minhome with its former glory now turned to place with only common ores.
- Leeboar Sea is a small sea between Tradfell and Dewshore
- Flodskog is the forest surrounding Dewshore
- Fields of Execution is par of the large plains north of Minhome
Visited Locations
Camps, caves, outposts and more. These are places you have visited outside of settlements, usually to deal with a threat but some times in order to recruit allies.
- Bandit Harbor, a small collection of houses used by bandits serving Zala, ruler of waves on the northwesten side of Leeboar sea.
- Giants castle, formerly a dwarven castle build in Botrusberg, likely to protect and oversee their mining operations. Now it houses hill and stone giants.
- Adamantine Mine, a former adamantine mine now used by Christian Kracht to master his necromancy.
- Flodskog rest site, a place used by kobolds to capture unsuspecting travellers. It is now turing into a small watchsite to improve safe travells between Minhome and Dewshore.
Known Locations
Some places comes up in conversation but its to far away to go there or its location is unknown. If you dont remember a lot about them, that's because the person who told you about the place probably did not know much about it.
- Celestial fortress, at least the members of the Ebony Archives claims that it exists within Botrusberg, would have been easier to go there if there was any more clues.
- Zala's lair is expected to be somewhere on the Leeboar isles. Your guesses are only based of limited information though.
- Velistara's mountain shrine, a small worship and observation side located high up in Botrusberg. It is apparently a good place for observing planar phenomenons.
