Zala, ruler of waves - TSWK
The waves travelling on the Leeboar Sea have never been truly quiet, but recently they've grown more and more violent. Ships sailing between Dewshore and Tradfell have gone missing to the point where trade across the sea is no longer profitable. At the center of this problem lies Zala, the blue dragon that rules over the waves she swims through.
The Hunt
At the core of the hunt lies the Adult Blue Dragon, Zala, but hunting her down in her own domain will prove difficult as she is immensely strong and commands a vast force. Figuring out her weaknesses, taking apart her army and forming a net that she can't escape out of will be crucial for a successful hunt.
Strengths
Based of historically established characteristics of dragons, those that are blue should not naturally be such good swimmers. Zala clearly differs from common sense and likely possesses strengths that would be dangerous to encounter unprepared.
Weaknesses
As Dain Hollowbrand would often say: It does not matter if you make your safe out of adamantine if you forget to lock the door. Everything has a weakness, either physically or mentally. Each encounter gives a chance to learn some thing about the dragon and if you are able to find the secrets that it has tried to hide, you will inevitably win.History & Encounters
During the raid at the so called "bandit harbour" at the request of Muddic Granitebraids, the group found out that it was under the orders of a dragon that they traumatised before killing. Shortly after a detachment of dragonborn came into the area as the destruction on the bandit harbour was clearly visible (someone blew up a house scattering it across the area) and the ship that was heading for the harbour turned around. Not long after the dragon Zala came to the harbour, tried to find its child and upon discovering its corpse unleashed its fury upon the surrounding.
Shortly after her child had died, Zala assaulted Dewshore. The assault seemed unplanned as the flyby attacks targeted the districts in no particular order or with any focus. Although the pit district sustained the most amount of damage it could simply be because of the weaker construction and fires that spread. The cities response to the attack was severely delayed as the dragon was not spotted until it burst out of the waters just outside the harbour, avoiding all detection from sentries. As the ordinary guards and militia was unable to do much of anything with the exception of crowd control and putting out fires, it took a long time until mercenaries and other capable fighters where able to gather themselves and drive the dragon away from the city.
