The Loyalist Thaumatic Army Council
The Loyalist Thaumatic Army Council was an organisation initially put together in secret during the early years of the The Limit Protectorate by the mage Kindall Skolbraken to oppose the rule of Prince Rygarde. They were an alliance of military forces and mages, which included new groups as well as some very long standing traditional services, such as the Quarowl High Guard.
The Loyalist Thaumatic Army Council briefly ruled Magicians' End after their members had brought an end to the Limit Protectorate in 5184 APC at the battle known as the Eviction.
As important as the removal of Prince Rygarde and the ending of the Limit Protectorate undoubtably was, it is possible that the Hylacon Gates Repair Program which the Council organised over the following years, was even more important, securing the Dark Domains behind a second layer of arcane protection and restoring a level of security to Magicians' End which it had not known for many centuries.
