Cloud-Marquis/Marchioness of Sunrock
The Cloud-Marquis or Cloud-Marchioness of Sunrock was the local title given to the controller of the Aerial Hub of the town during the age of the Four Aerial Courts.
It was one of four similar global titles for the individuals charged with special responsibilities for the airports of four cities. Collectively, these were known as the Sky Lords.
Appointment
The political role and its associated responsibilities are assigned as a direct appointment by the Lord Mayor or Lady Mayoress of Sunrock. There is no fixed term and any individual can be removed and replaced by the Lord Mayor or Lady Mayoress of Sunrock at any time. After their removal from office, individuals retain a lesser courtesy title as a Rain-Marquess or Marchioness of Sunrock of which there can be several, although there is only ever one active Cloud-Marquess or Marchioness.
