The Feywild
“It is not a dream. It is not a mirror. The Feywild is what your memories look like when they get lost.”
What Is the Feywild?
The Feywild is a strange and beautiful plane that exists alongside the Material World—but it does not follow the same rules. It is a realm of emotion, story, and memory. Time flows unpredictably. Places change when you're not looking. Nothing is exactly what it seems.
In Tey-Ashra, the Feywild is sometimes called "The Veil Beyond Memory." It is shaped by things forgotten, stories untold, and the emotions people hide. Some say it remembers what the gods tried to forget.
What Should I Expect?
Time is slippery: You might spend an hour in the Feywild and return days later—or vice versa.
Dream logic rules: Roads curve into themselves. Trees might speak. Lakes might reflect futures instead of faces.
Stories live there: You may find yourself cast in a role—like a character in a tale you don’t remember starting.
Emotion changes the world: Fear might summon fog. Grief might wilt flowers. Joy might light a hidden path.
Who Lives There?
Fey Creatures: From tiny pixies to powerful Archfey, the Feywild is home to beings of whimsy and danger.
Courts of the Fey: The plane is ruled by various Fey Courts, each tied to different aspects of nature, memory, and time.
Lost Things: Sometimes, memories, people, or even pieces of songs end up in the Feywild. They grow strange over time.
Is It Dangerous?
Yes—but not always in the way you'd expect.
The Fey may offer help, but always at a price
You can become lost in story, time, or your own thoughts
Some who enter forget who they are. Others come back changed
Signs of the Feywild Leaking Through
Sometimes, the Feywild touches the Material world. When it does, you might notice:
Plants growing in perfect spirals
Animals watching too closely
Music with no source
Dreams that feel more than real
Why Does It Matter?
The Feywild may hold answers to secrets buried in Tey-Ashra's past. Some believe it knows the truth about the Spiral, the gods, and the trials that now awaken.
If you dream of strange places, hear your name whispered in the wind, or find a door where none was before... you might be closer to the Feywild than you think.
Player Note
Approach with curiosity—but be ready to bargain, remember, and maybe even forget. The Feywild is not fair. But it is listening.
