Lupus Dei
The Lupus Dei are a joint order of holy knights dedicated to Karsten and Galneryus. It is widely known that they take lycanthropes to become members of their order, having them undergo a sacred rite which allows them to fully control their transformation. Whomever among the order is afflicted with the condition is a well-guarded secret, as a result a stigma has formed around the order, with many people assuming the entirety of the Lupus Dei are lycanthropic.
The Lupus Dei serve at wherever a chapel that venerates Karsten as its patron.
The order is still trusted by many dukes and princes within The Martellite Empire, as they ask for little in the form of pay so long as the enemy is provably heretical or sacriligeous.

Core Principles
The Lupus Dei uphold a number of oaths. Chief among these oaths are three: First, to control the bloodlust of the wild for the good of the Arcturian church. Second, to face those who would stain the Empire's name in holy battle. Third and lastly, defend the balance between day and night, as werewolves and vampires will seek to prey on innocents, they must act to counter them.
