Arcturian

Arcturianism is the primary religion of Martellia. It is named after the prophet Arcturus, who was the first to have spoken with this pantheon in the early days of civilization. Arcturianism is considered one of the most widely spread religions, penetrating into neighboring Härtenstadt settlements and the more tolerant parts of the Eiturwood.

The Gods

The chief goddess in the Arcturian faith is Delain, the goddess of light. It is believed that she is the mother of all the other Arcturian gods, save for the evil entity known as Har-Kuur. The other gods include Rhapsodeus, the god of music, Galneryus, the god of war, Karsten, the god of the wilds and moon, and Beldur, the god of pain and endurance.
The evil Har-Kuur seeks to corrupt and influence the other gods, seeking absolute chaos. No other entity in the Arcturian pantheon is more violent or insidious, and the entity Har-Kuur is one many seek to defy and fight against.

Arcturian Grand Titles

The Arcturian faith has titles that it grants to particularly, pious and accomplished followers. These Grand Titles are considered high honors in Martellite society, and in the Arcturian communities abroad, generally commanding great respect. The Lux Triumphans is the highest of these titles. In the thousand-year history of the Arcturians' establishment, only ten people have ever been named Lux Triumphans.
