The Eiturwood Confederation of Elven Tribes

Generally shortened to simply The Eiturwood Elves, these tribes are xenophobic and extremely judgmental. They pursue the preservation of nature at all costs and are at their core predatory. The Eiturwood Elves were founded by, and are made up of, a majority population of Eitur Elves, who established their territory in the great forest now known as The Eiturwood. The tribes that make up the Confederation are loosely organized, generally led by a singular chieftain or priest. The Eiturwood Elves hold great animosity towards the other nations, all for different reasons. Whether it be The Fylkirate for their warlike ways, the elves of the Skywall for their vanity, or the Martellians for their divisiveness, disdain for the ways of outsiders is commonplace within. Their deepest hatred lies in for the Härtenstadt dwarves, who twist nature and magic into forms strange and foreign. The tribes of Eiturwood rarely convene with one another, but when they do it is because they have to deal with one of these entities in some fashion, whether it be for war or for trade. They have been known to burn down places of foreign religious worship, and to sacrifice outsiders to their gods. Believing the other races to be at best outsiders to be wary of, and at worst nuisances to the world, they are not above transforming anyone not an Eiturwood elf into some sort of slave, whether it be undead or otherwise. "If the outsiders will not serve nature in life, they can do so in death" is a common saying. Re-purposing the body of a mortal is merely seen as normal as crafting a bow from a fallen tree. The sole taboo of Eiturwood necromancy is raising a fellow Eiturwood elf, as those of the tribes should never see each other as tools, in any state.

Leadership

The Eiturwood Tribes are discordant. Generally, each has one chieftain, though a particularly powerful High Chief may come to dominate a majority of the Eiturwood, through either influencing the other tribes, or eliminating other chieftains. Recently, several warbands have been rallying under the banner of Cynbel Tonfala, an Ashen Elf with a warlike reputation.
