The Phoenix Crew's Toreador photographer. One of the coterie's first members and their best talker.

A slimly built caucasian man, typically dressed immaculately and fashionably.

Personality

Martin Summers gives off a consistent friendly persona. Of high Humanity and a general friend-maker. Martin goes into interactions with other people with his best foot forward, usually. The exception is towards people he finds to be unfashionable, or the Nosferatu in general. Towards he will at best give snide comments to "help" them realise their lack of fashion sense, or at worst out right berate their looks.
He is also an avid photographer. To "capture the moment" is ever his goal in unlife. Even owning a studio as an eccentric night-time-only photographer.

History

A photographer with a morbid curiousity Martin had his own studio back in . Though quite popular and successful, doing everything from portrait photography to architectural pictures and product photography. Whenever he came across a morbid scene: roadkill, a murder scene, civil services taking care of badly wounded victims. He would take pictures of said scene. But his passion? Taking pictures of seemingly occult objects. Something as simple as a curiousity shop with occult paraphinelea or someone with a witch-like aestethic was fair game, but his Moby Dicks were truly occult scenes: someone crossing a busy street of racing cars unharmed as they carry a crystal, a blood sacrifice ritual with an actual human victim, or a vampire feeding. This obsession only grew as his sire Embraced him.

He would have to flee Boston when that little hobby of his was found out. As he had gathered an extensive collection of photography that even the most lenient Camarilla (or even Anarch) would call a Masquerade Breach, and put it all up in a gallery. More pictures of vampires feeding, pictures of Kindred performing their disciplines, scenes where sect leaders gathered for their politics. A treasure trove for Kindred rivals and the SI alike. So Martin fled to New York before the consequenses of this discovery could catch up to him.

(Un)living in New York Martin kept a low profile, avoiding any undue attention. With one exception: his photography. The one itch he can't not scratch. For a while he has kept his low profile, only being singled out by the Camarilla court when they formed the Phoenix Crew coterie to deal with a series of suspicious murders.
Martin, being a part of the ones whom took this toosed-to-the-wayside fledgeling's sire to justice, and saving Primogen Gallahan from Anarch captivity has earned noticable respect amongs the New York Camarilla. He however got caught trying to take pictures of Gallahan emerging from Torpor. With a faux act of (very reluctant) obedience and some sleight of hand he managed to save the SD card with his more Masquerade breaching pictures as he handed the Primogen's underlings his camera. To be destroyed post-haste.
His secrets remain intact, but his low-profile does not. It is known to the Malkavian Primogen of New York and the Sheriff of New York that he takes pictures of a Masquerade Breaching nature.

However, to further complicate things. The Queens Anarchs (or at least key figures amongst them) learned of Martin's gallery. In December of 2023 he was captured by said Anarchs and given an ultimatum: either he would work for them as an informant, or they would reveal to all the city's kindred the existence of his gallery. Close to new year's that same year. Vincent, Ren and Azura pulled him into a stolen car with Camarilla hitmen after them. The coterie now defecting to the Queens Anarchs, as a plan to become double agents (though unbeknownst to Martin.)
