Campaign Premise
The Stella Casus project takes place in the aptly named 'Stella' setting and is set in it's year 1427 A.S., it follows the adventures of a group of individuals exploring the frontier region by the name of 'Númen-Hyarmen'. The campaign is played within the Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition game system and takes place in a defined sandbox.
Mission Statement
• It's all about having fun.
This is probably the most important point for the entirity of the Stella Casus project. We are here to have fun and as such, when something stops being fun we'll try our best to resolve that situation in the best way possible.• A Shared World, A Shared Story.
While the world has been carefully constructed over the past few years by many hands and thus forms a base to work from, we are still all doing this together. Together we continue building this world and the stories within it.• The Player's Decide, In Advance.
The gameplay of Stella Casus is very player oriented. This means that when setting up a mission/session as a player, that it is important to have a good grasp of the details of that mission. Where do you want to go? What are you going to do there? What will determine a succesful mission? These are example of important question to ask yourself when preparing to go out on and adventure with the world of Stella Casus.• No Regular Plot; A Sandbox Game.
Within the world of Stella Casus, there is no ulterior plot that you as a player must follow. Instead, the GM's who host their games within the project might run stories and plots that they like and enjoy. It is up to the players to decide what stories they chase, what issues they resolve and to what they decide to turn their attention. In essence, this means that the of Stella Casus project is a sandbox game.Code Of Conduct
While in essence the Stella Casus project is a more loose and free enviroment due to it's 'Friend Group' nature and origins, we still wield a code of conduct that helps us create a safe and respectful enviroment, while observing common values and standards of decency. The Stella Casus project is in essence a 'massive' campaign that lends its inspiration from early west-marches concepts and allows a lot of people to play in the same campaign without set dates. This means that you will be participating in a larger, shared on-going story with all different kinds of players and characters. The core of the campaigns gameplay will center around going out on adventures, with additional posibilites for text-RP inbetween sessions as characters take their downtime.
