Victoria Cort
Counselwoman Victoria Cort (a.k.a. Vic, The Iron Maiden)
Victoria Cort is a tall, imposing woman, rippling with muscle and a no-nonsense attitude. Her short blonde hair is styled but utilitarian, and her icy blue eyes brook no dissembling. Vic served as a Gatewarden for 20 years before being elected to the Council representing Ares, and always seeks to advocate for its interests. It’s said that she never leaves Gatehome except for her duties in Zeus, eschewing any more comfortable dwelling.
Vic joined the Gatewardens straight out of schooling, accepted after her very first application. Her strong body and stronger will kept her safe and sane despite the dangers of her work, but also earned the ire of those who did not approve of her exacting methods. This strictness led to the nickname of Iron Maiden, which is she is still referred to by some of her contemporaries on the Council, but rarely to her face. Said to have more experience fighting Horrors than anyone else living.
Physical Description
Blue eyes that are just uncanny enough to be high grade cybereyes. Muscular build and tall, 6’2”. Favors open backed dresses to show off her shoulders, various scars tell of her time with the Gatewardens.
