Dontae is a recent Olympia emigrant and is still getting accustomed to life within its walls. He is a rough-and-tumble fighter with a soft spot for kids and dogs, a healthy fear of spirits, and a heart of gold.
Dontae is the only known survivor of the Angels of Death, one of the raider clans that besieged Olympia in its early history. The once-powerful Angels declined over time, picked apart by Horrors and other Raider clans, until a final Horror attack wiped the rest out. Dontae refused to admit defeat and remained in the clan's bunker alone, surviving off their long-term stores and his own hunter-gatherer knowledge. It wasn't until Hayase arrived out of the blue and helped him defeat the Horror that killed his tribe that Dontae finally agreed to leave his lonely bunker and become a citizen of Olympia.
