Gaima was the goddess of beauty and devotion, a being that only sought to spread wonder and strengthen relationships among the people of Everisa. However, something went wrong. Nobody knows exactly what happened, suffice to say that the other gods turned against her and had her split into pieces. These pieces would eventually come to be known as the different elves, each representing a part of her form. Her devotion, her grace, her arrogance, and her loneliness. To say elves are ignorant is rude. However, their inability to recognize the other elves as allies and cousins leaves many of the separate races alone in the world to fight their own battles. However, there is one race that seeks to change that. Hailing from the island continent of Velana, elves are further segregated into countries consisting of their sub-races as well... Nethrend houses the Dark Elves, or Soluvel Berisa is home to the High Elves, or Univel Mountglade is where the Snow Elves, or Kaovel, live and Hugn resides Wood elves, or Ordvel There is also one final race of elves that are not terribly common in the world and can randomly be born from any elf family. These elves, known as Anivel or Grey Elves, are an oddity that most do not understand.
