Brata

Goddess of Beauty and Cycles

Origin

Brata is of disputed origin, with both stories being listed below, with the most popular being listed first;   When Abella arrived at Sinstram after her wandering of the night sky, she looked upon it's citizens and was taken with a word not yet invented, "Beauty". So stricken with the towers, jewlery, and other eye capturing things the mortals of Sinstram used to decorate themselves and their surrondings, she wanted to capture the feeling within the divine pantheon, and with the damp clay of the Boneyard, molded a woman that would make sure all of the mortal creations could be remembered and cherished among the immortal circles, and so Brata was born. Molded from the very essence of mortals now passed and forgotten dwelled, Abella would insure that mortal kind had an immortal protector of their arts, and named her Brata.   The second, less popular story is as follows;   All worlds were created when the first noise was uttered by the primoridal forces outside of time. The first note of the primordial sounds created the first spec of dust that would soon be illumited by the first sun. When the light reflected off this spec, the concept of beauty was created, and so Brata was born. When the dust, through the primordial sounds began to form into the first plane of existence, just to again return to dust as the invention of time was invented, Brata felt a new power growing in her, the cycle of life, death, and all things. So, she became the first and oldest divine, with her domains being everything, everywhere, all at once.
