Abella
Goddess of Healing, Night and Trickery
Origin
Abella was spawned from the chaos of the cosmos themselves, appearing as a star colliding with a distant moon. As she drifted across the cosmos and night sky, she occupied her long flight with small jokes and magical illusions on near humorless creatures unknown to Sinstram. By total chance, she arrived at the shattered plane, and instead of seeing only wandering dumbfounded beings, she saw buildings and civilizations. Suddenly aware now of new playthings, she began to grace those she found the most amusement in. Quickly she grew a soft spot for all it's citizens and found herself horrified at the aspects of war and death. As a direct result, she started applying her tricks in tandem with her love, granting longer, more joy filled lives to those she treasured.Places of Worship
Abella has many temples, though rarely are they grand. As per her teachings, her followers are not to be preached to, and these temples are normally set up as small hospitals, with rows of cots in the major chambers. Abella rarely charges for her services with coin, as long as those doing her work are fed and taken care of within their communities. Typically, small shrines of her are placed in places of healing, traditionally with black candles that are to be lit at night.Followers
Her clerics and paladins are often described as "Helpful but annoying," which she takes great pride in. Not seeing the point in rooting her followers to single locations where they might not be seen or heard, or grow uninspired by the same mundane surroundings, she instead told her faithful that the best method of sharing her ideology would be to buy the well-humored victims of pranks a drink. Naturally, this method didn't work too well, and realistically, the reason Abella has the majority of her followers is that she provides near indiscriminate healing and a good laugh from many people.
