Defences
The town lacks a defensive wall, but most of the buildings have reinforced fences. The skyline of the town is a forest of pointed roofs and spiky wooden protrusions and decorations. If the defense choices and signs of regular repairs are any clue, they likely have ongoing problems with vampires and werewolves.

Architecture
Blotch is a non-walled city with relatively few buildings, but the buildings are large and mostly made of wood. They lack the whitewash common in Alvidarian settlements. A lot of the architecture here is raw lumber. The designs tend to be tall and vaguely spiky, including lots of tall, very pointy ceilings, flagpoles, and other things that would make flying around the city at high speed dangerous. Especially if you had an allergy to wooden stakes for some reason.
Geography
The town is located in mostly flat plains, though the henge to the north is set on a hill. The Werelian Mountains that separate Alvidar from Werel are close to the north and east.
Climate
Located in the cold climate of Northern Alvidar, Blotch commonly sees freezing temperatures and occasional snowfall.
Natural Resources
Blotch sees some trade in fur and lumber, which are processed by the town's furrier and lumber yards.
