A timeline of the main events and stories within the re:INVENT world, mostly centered around Player Characters and their allies.
The time before NaVita, Sevrica, and R34P3R came to Dustria City.
Richard Briggs leads a raid on the hidden base of a rampant criminal organization within Dustria City alongside his partner, Suresh Kapur. During the raid, Briggs and Kapur confront the leader of the organization, Strike, but in the ensuing fight, Kapur's legs are both broken and Strike escapes custody.
Dr. Alexander Rite makes a monumental breakthrough with his research at Gemstone Industries and successfully completes a prototype for a ring that, when worn by a living organism, grants that organism supernatural abilities by altering their genetic makeup at the molecular level. CEO of Gemstone Industries, Cole Johnson, congratulates Dr. Rite on his work and grants him a brand new research suite so that he may produce more of these "Power Rings" as soon as possible.
Gemstone Industries introduces it's new line of rings to the world, not revealing what the Power Rings are capable of, they are advertised as a brand of ring with a new metal material in the band that allows them to expand to the perfect size for every wearer. The first 7 Power Rings are given out to randomly selected citizens of Dustria City; Maurice Williams, Thomas Jones, Annie Denn, Neil Sanders, Elizabeth Walters, Andrew Blood, and Ezra Ennis. The rings hold the Amber, Topaz, Aquamarine, Sanyx, Amethyst, Bloodstone, and Seraphinite gems.
After an encounter with a mysterious super-powered individual, Maurice Williams is approached by Richard Briggs of the Dustria City Police Department. Briggs offers Maurice a job with the DCPD after seeing his selfless work saving a residential area from burning to the ground. He tells Maurice about a new investigations unit he is assembling to combat the new threat to Dustria City. Briggs introduces Maurice to the other two members of this Special Investigations Team, Elizabeth Walters and Alexander Rite. Maurice accepts the offer and the SI Team of the DCPD's 17th Precinct is born.
Gemtsone Industries releases the second wave of Power Rings to the Dustria City Metropolitan Hospital. This group of Power Rings are designed specifically to be of use in medical environments. The rings include Tsavorite, Citrine, Almandine, Beryl, Tanzanite, Onyx, and Fluorite. Before the rings can be put into use, they go missing from the hospital's storage area.
Thomas Jones defends the Dustria City Museum from a mass robbery conducted by the Bandits Trade and Blacksmithy. He at first must retreat but is joined by Maurice Williams of the Dustria City Police Department's 17th Precinct Special Investigations Team. The pair fend of the Bandits and successfully protect the museum. Realizing that he can use his talents for the greater good of the public, Maurice offers Thomas a position with the SI Team, which he accepts.
Gemstone Industries releases the third wave of Power Rings to selected retailers throughout Dustria City. The rings included in this wave are Zephyr, Moonstone, Sunstone, Rhodolite, and Danburite.
Neil Sanders, after turning down multiple offers to join the Dustria City Police Department, is confronted by Evan Dawson and Mason Stone, attempting to coerce him into joining with Gemstone Industries. When he turns down this offer, the men turn violent and attack Neil. In the midst of defending himself while trying not to cause property damage at the construction site he works at, he is joined by Maurice Williams and Thomas Jones of the DCPD's Special Investigations Team, and together the trio fends off Dawson and Stone. Presented with one final offer to join the DCPD, Neil accepts on the grounds that he is allowed to operate at his own pace.
The tribe of Vampires located at the Southern border of Dustria City attempt to infect the entirety of Dustria City by poisoning the water supply with blood that has been mixed between human and vampires. The leader, Lady Mariana, is thwarted by the coalition of the Bandits Trade and Blacksmithy and The Guardians.
The events of the time in which NaVita Vega, Sevrica Agrivar, and others spent in Dustria City.
After a turbulent introduction to Dustria City, NaVita Vega, Sevrica Agrivar, and Saoirse decide to join the Dustria City Police Department.
A formal meeting is set up between the Council of Three, the executive body of Dustria City, and Cole Johnson, CEO of Gemstone Industries. At the meeting, a proposal is made by Cole Johnson to integrate Gemstone Industries' QUARTZ-Bots into law enforcement as a force augmentation. Richard Briggs and the Special Investigations Team are highly against this as they have encountered several QUARTZ-Bots in the field, and know how dangerous they truly are. At the request of the Council of Three, the SI Team and the 17th Precinct's SWAT Squad are summoned as the security for the meeting, given the recent rise of dangerous criminal activity in the city. Not long into the meeting, a shot is fired through the window of the meeting room and kills Daryl Carswell and Sophia Long, leaving Roy Smith the lone survivor. Chaos erupts at the capital building and escort from the DCPD along with Cole Johnson's personal guard escort Smith out of the building safely, only for him to be kidnapped by a mysterious Succubus and Incubus in a confrontation in the city streets. Over the next number of days, the DCPD fans out across the city searching for Councilman Smith, with little luck. Just when all hope seems lost, the Councilman is found by a Gemstone Militia task force. In a show of thankfulness and good faith, Councilman Smith declares that the QUARTZ-Initiative will be passed immediately.
The Order of the Unbound arrive in Dustria City to cause havoc for Gemstone Industries and the Dustria City Police Department. Working in secret with Timothy Ilyushina, they relentlessly chase after the members of the 17th Precinct's Special Investiations Team. In a climactic confrontation, Richard Briggs kills Strike to end the conflict.
Neil Sanders, left with no choice, is revealed as the heir to the Zar Pirate Dynasty, an international league of pirate's banded around his mother, Eliza Zar. With the support of the Dustria City Police Department, Neil confronts his mother and unleashes the full force of his powers. Neil sinks the entire fleet of the Zar Dynasty while they are still at sea, and leaves his mother and family to be apprehended by International Law Enforcement.
After one hundred years, the pantheon of the Thunderforged have gathered their champions on Earth and pit them against one another in feats of Strength, Intellect, and Art. The selected mortals endure harsh trials and even stranger encounters with the other beings of the tournament. This century, the winning Thunderforge is Caius, god of knowledge and the dead. Richard Briggs is declared Champion of Combat, Pascal the Flumph is declared Champion of Art, and NaVita Vega and Cole Johnson are declared Champions of Intellect.
After much hardship, NaVita Vega and Thomas Jones find enough of a peaceful stretch of time to hold their wedding. In front of all of their friends and family, NaVita and Thomas join as one in a symbol of good fate and a testament to the strength of love.
The DCPD is disbanded as a result of internal turmoil, opening the way for the West Sea Traders Military to enter Dustria City and essentially provide a vicegrip of control to Cole Johnson and Gemstone Industries. Little do they know that this also opens a lane for a new coalitions to form in direct opposition to Gemstone. One formed from the shambles of the DCPD in tandem with the other forces of good operating about Dustria City, and this force fighting on the side of justice calls itself The Stand.
