Hoth N’dorgor
Pronunciation: HOTH en-DOR-gor
Map Index: I-5
Location: Western Centakus
Geography: Hoth N’dorgor, a desolate expanse of land situated in western Centakus, bears a sinister reputation as a vile cursed realm. Living vegetation is a rarity, and what manages to cling to life is often poisonous or armored with menacing sharp thorns. The land of Hoth N’dorgor encompasses a sprawling depression that is below sea level and hemmed in by towering mountains on almost all sides, save for the southeast.
The Urogor and Vorugor mountain ranges on the border of Hoth N’dorgor have volcanic origins. These old volcanoes, lie dormant and slumbering, while within the valley, several active volcanoes rumble ominously. Foremost among them, Ruinrauko, spews forth a ceaseless cascade of fine ash and noxious fumes, enveloping the sky in a seemingly permanent gray haze and choking the very air.
Mighty dust storms often sweep through the land with ferocity, quickly plunging day into an eerie, ashen night. At the heart of this desolation lies Raugannon, a towering volcanic peak, believed to possess a portal that allows creatures of enormous evil to cross into this world. Legends speak of demons of fearsome power dwelling at its summit, their malevolent auras tainting the very earth. Sulfur flats, where rainwater reluctantly collects, form poisonous oases within the tainted land. Some claim the land itself possesses an ancient, malevolent sentience, weaving an atmosphere of constant dread and fear.
Gorrais Helevorn, a tall black obsidian tower located at the heart of Hoth N’dorgor’s malignance, is a greatly feared epicenter of evil, casting an aura of menacing darkness across the land. Its tall black spires, believed to be the ancient remnants of a long dead volcano, dominate the despoiled landscape.
Whispers tell of a cabal of malevolent wizards lurking deep within the valley, plotting to achieve world domination. Yet, none who venture there ever return to validate these claims, leaving a shroud of mystery and fear.
To the north, formidable hordes of Turoch mounted on horseback guard the Fang Gate. As the only straightforward passage into Hoth N’dorgor from the north, this harrowing entrance into the cursed valley is renowned for its disconcerting resemblance to a demonic fang filled mouth.

Climate: The land's ceaseless and unrelenting year-round fiery heat along little rain have produced nearly parched nearly lifeless landscape.
Wildlife: Little wildlife that is not evil dares to enter this cursed valley, although great hordes of bats leave their cavern homes in the nearby mountains and fill the skies above the valley each night.
Humanoids: An evil cabal of mages has control of the black tower of Gorrais Helevorn. They are served by other evil humans and Turoch who fanatically serve them and do their bidding. The Turoch are gorilla-like humanoids who live in crude shelters near the center of the great valley.
Monsters: Unspeakable horrors live within the Hoth N'dorgor valley. Many entered this world through the gateway that exists atop the great volcanic peak of Raugannon.
History: Hoth N’dorgor's history is one of anguish and malice, an ancient place forgotten by time and cursed by its own existence. The Great Cataclysm did little to affect the already desolate land, solidifying its status as a realm of eternal torment, despair, and malignant darkness.
Today: The land itself reeks of evil malace. Everything is covered in ash and the stench of sulfer fills the air. Amid all the desolation and ash belching volcanos, a pinnacle of sheer black obsidian rock stands as a great beacon of evil, its sheer black obsidian tower dominating the landscape.
