Roen is Kastov trained and a fully fledged member of the Order of Kastova's Guardians. He has further academic credit, to the point that throughout his life he has taught courses at universities in Arkaley, Windmoor, and Ledos, primarily in history and politics.
Employment
A Kastov for several decades, Roen spent the majority of his time between Ledos and Arkaley, where he served as an advisor and knight for both the ruling families, as well as teaching at the local universities. Following the Empiric invasion, Roen fled east, eventually settling in Windmoor and becoming Brian Rahal's chief advisor. Roen was key in House Rahal's capture of the throne, and he now serves as a royal advisor to the family, although the aging man has mostly retired from active combat situations.
