Kastova takes the form of a brown bear. One of her most important myths details the escape of Orrust and the other marked gods, in which her stomach and chest was ripped open. This wound is usually also portrayed in her depictions--anything from a dark stripe assumed to be a scar or blood, all the way to completely showing her guts inside of the wound.
