The Eight Spheres of Power
The world of Magic Eight is governed by the interactions of eight spheres of power; universal forces capable of granting immense magical (or, in one case, technological) power. All magic, superpowers, high technology, and anything that can make a character truly superhuman fall under the purview of one of the eight spheres.
